Time range and comparison
Set the granularity and date range, and compare against a previous period.
Granularity
The granularity menu sets the width of each column and chart point: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly.
Time range
| Preset | Range |
|---|---|
| 7D | The last 7 days |
| 30D | The last 30 days (default) |
| MTD | Month to date |
| QTD | Quarter to date. Quarters follow your fiscal year start. |
| Date picker | Any custom range, such as Aug 26 – Sep 24 |
The LIVE indicator means the view refreshes as new billing data lands.
Compare against
Open the ⋯ menu at the right of the toolbar and choose Compare against:

| Nothing | No comparison (default) |
| Previous period | The same length of time immediately before |
| Previous month | The previous calendar month |
| Same period last year | The same dates one year earlier |
| Custom | Any range you choose |
The same menu has Copy link, which copies a URL that reopens Explorer exactly as you see it.
The last one to three days of any range may be incomplete because providers publish billing data on a delay. See Data freshness.
