Filters
Filter cost by common dimensions, provider-specific dimensions, and tag keys, with AND and OR conditions.
Select Filter in the toolbar to open the filter panel.
How conditions combine
- Within a set, every condition must match (AND). Select and to add a condition to the set.
- Add a second set for OR. A row is included if it matches any set.
For example, (Provider = AWS and Service = EC2) or (Provider = Azure and Service = Virtual Machines) is two sets.
Pick a dimension
The Filter by menu lists every dimension you can filter on, with a coverage bar showing the share of spend that has a value for it.
Common dimensions (all clouds)

| Account ID | AWS account, Azure subscription, GCP project, or equivalent |
| Account Name | The readable name of the account |
| Billing Account ID | The payer, billing account, or enrolment |
| Charge Type | Usage, purchase, tax, credit, refund, and so on |
| Service | The provider's service name |
| Invoice Issuer Name | Who issued the invoice, for example a reseller |
By cloud
Each provider adds its own dimensions, grouped under AWS, Azure, GCP, and Snowflake in the menu, for example region, SKU, usage type, and resource ID. See Dimensions.
Tag keys
Every tag and label key from your resources is a dimension. Search for it by name. The menu footer shows how many dimensions and tag keys are available.
Watch the coverage bar
A dimension with low coverage, such as Invoice Issuer Name at 22%, only has a value for part of your spend. Filtering on it silently drops the rest. Tags usually have lower coverage than built-in dimensions.
Filter with words
Select Analyze and type what you want, such as S3 excluding us-east-1. Iris sets the filter chips for you. See Analyze.
Clear filters
Select Close to keep filters and return to the chart, or remove a condition with its ×.
